Karoo Padstal Interior

Have you ever heard a title like that?  This is another one of the images taken by Johan van der Merwe.  He took this image at a padstal between Calvinia and Ceres.  How cool is this?  So typically South African, but it has a feel of interiors painted by the likes of David Hockney.  Maybe not as clean cut, but still.  Interiors have always been a favourite subject matter and I thought this one adds a uniquely South African flavour.
