Johannesburg

Something about the vibrancy of this place, and the people - my answer when people ask why I live here.  I love this city, it has a fascinating history and this place is so alive!  Beautiful buildings, lovely parks and botanical gardens, and there is always something interesting going on.

There is company called Microadventure Tours (www.microadventuretours) who does the most amazing tours of Jozi, showing you from the interesting historical sights to coffee hotspots, and even the Westcliff stairs if you are feeling energetic.  I took this picture from one of the flats near the top of Ponte Tower.  I participated in a race that morning which was organised by Microadventure Tours, racing up the stairs of the Ponte Tower.  Afterwards they treated us to breakfast with a view - this amazing view of this diverse city.  I had to make this image for my fellow Jozi-lovers.

This image is rather challenging and will keep you busy for a while with it's detail and 29 colours.  Each box contains a stretched, printed and numbered canvas, paint, brushes and a page detailing the numbers for an extra reference.
